Our firm is seeking a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our Grand Rapids, MI office. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact and have the opportunity to interact with employees at all levels, including the Firm’s CEO, Principals, visiting guests, and clients.

This is an on-site position requiring attendance in the office on Wednesday and Friday, and additional days as needed. In this role, you can expect to work 24 hours per week, with potential for more hours, up to 40 hours during busy season (January-April 15).

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and assist clients, visitors, and employees
• Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and accuracy
• Manage client check-ins, conference room scheduling, and meeting logistics
• Support secure handling of confidential client documents (drop-offs, pickups, and scanned files)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, printing, scanning, and client billing
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries
• Receive, sort and organize incoming tax documents
• Operate high-volume scanners and document management software to digitize tax documents
• Upload files to appropriate client folder or tax software
• Provide general administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a high level of reliability
• Strong organization skills and ability to multitask effectively
